Year 12 of chronicling my favorite tracks from the previous year. I am a bit late in posting for 2017! When I went back to my save file for tracks I like throughout the year I was astonished to see 30 songs I had put aside...definitely the most since I have been doing this. I've winnowed down to 24 tracks and 90 minutes but for those that have requested CD copies...it will have to be reduced further. Happy 2018 to the few to those that land here (or my Mixcloud site) and listen. Greetings!

This project started as a whim but has been fun to catalog my favorite tracks for the past several years. This is the 10^th year of doing so. Hopefully in another 10 years there will be a better (and legal) way to get the tracks beamed to your favorite listening device, but in the meantime please consume as works best. This compilation jelled late but I am really happy the way it travels from beginning to end. There is even a track from an album that briefly made #1 on Amazon (Jason Isbell) this year!

Another year and an accounting of my favorite songs. The cutoff remains about 70 minutes worth of music, or what fits on a CD.
