Rockpile 2015

Bill’s Rockpile  2015   2008

Greetings!
This project started as a whim but has been fun to catalog my favorite tracks for the past several years. This is the 10th year of doing so. Hopefully in another 10 years there will be a better (and legal) way to get the tracks beamed to your favorite listening device, but in the meantime please consume as works best. This compilation jelled late but I am really happy the way it travels from beginning to end. There is even a track from an album that briefly made #1 on Amazon (Jason Isbell) this year!
As in the past few years, these are available to stream on the widget below. The site url is https://www.mixcloud.com/underclaw/bills-rockpile-2015/. And I am sending out a few CD copies as well. Happy to send you one if you just drop me a note at wjcurran@gmail.com with your email address. Don't be shy. Thanks for listening!

Cheers,

Bill

Rockpile 2014

Bill’s Rockpile  2014

Hi,
Another year and an accounting of my favorite songs. The cutoff remains about 70 minutes worth of music, or what fits on a CD. As with last year, CDs will ship by request if you send one to underclaw@gmail.com. Or if you send me your own favorites. I felt like it was a pretty good list this year, and there were some I would have liked to include. Those honorable mentions are below. There were also many good reissues this year, and I was particularly fond of the Bedhead 1992-1998. Best show I saw this year was Carsick Cars at the Middle East Upstairs.
Thanks for visiting!

Cheers,

Bill
